Education is key in conservation. With our partners Bahari Hai in Kenya and Indonesia Biru Foundation in Lombok (Indonesia) we have set up awareness and education programs to protect elasmobranchs (sharks, rays and skates). Children, fishermen, government officials and the general public are addressed along the Kenyan coast and East Lombok. Awareness kits are used to highlight the importance of these magnificent species, their crucial role in the ecosystem, threats to their existence, and the solutions to protect them.
